Delete your account

You can delete your RentFit account and the personal data tied to it at any time.

  1. In the app (fastest)

    1. Open the app and go to the Profile tab.
    2. Tap Delete account, enter your password and confirm.

    Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out on all devices.

  2. Without the app

    If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from the address on your account with the subject Delete my account. We verify it is you and complete the deletion within 7 days.

  3. What is deleted, what is kept

    Deleted or anonymised right awayName, phone number, email address, profile photo, password, favourites, notification settings, device push tokens, signed-in sessions
    KeptBooking and payment records without your identifying details, for as long as tax, accounting and dispute laws require. Messages and reviews you already exchanged with a vendor may remain in anonymised form.

  4. Before you delete

    • You cannot delete while a booking is in progress. Finish or cancel it first.
    • Vendor accounts are closed through support, since they may have earnings to settle: email [email protected].
    • Deletion cannot be undone. You can register again later with the same email address.
